Brittany Favre Helps Grandpa Brett Make History

You know how Brett Favre loves to have some motivation. As if returning to the Minnesota Vikings who are loaded with talent and potential to win a Super Bowl was not enough, now Brett has another motivation - setting yet another NFL football record. He could be (unofficially, of course) the first NFL quarterback to be a Grandpa while playing.

Brett Favre is a grandpa, according to news reports on ESPN and USA Today. Brittany Favre is Brett's 21 year old daughter who was born when Brett was only 19 and wife Deanna was 20. It really shines a light on the old geezer doesn't it? At 41, Favre is still playing the game at a level above the majority of the quarterbacks out there. Can it be that he will actually be throwing passes next season? My guess is absolutely because Brett wants every record known to man.

Brett Favre is still as of yet undecided about his playing days with Minnesota. Maybe he returns and maybe he does not. Still, the fact that this man was able to play at a Pro Bowl level one year removed from being a grandpa is incredible. Brittany Favre has sure made her dad proud I am sure and best wishes are extended to her and her new baby.

The baby boy is 7 pounds and 7 ounces and is named Parker Brett. No word yet on when he will suit up and play for the Packers, but my guess is that Parker will be in there at least by the time he is out of diapers. Brett plays until he is 50 and Parker gets in there around the age of 10, maybe they can play against each other. Brett would win and set yet another record.
