Brittany Murphy Cause of Death Revealed to Be 'Preventable' in Autopsy Report

The Sad News that Brittany Murphy Could Have Been Treated on the Day of Her Death Came Down Today

The Brittany Murphy cause of death was revealed in Murphy's preliminary autopsy report. The cause of death for Brittany Murphy was ruled as preventable, and the sad realization is that if she has been taken to the hospital earlier on the day of her death that she could have been treated effectively. According to TMZ sources, the primary causes of Brittany Murphy's death are being called pneumonia and severe anemia. The condition was entirely treatable, and instead of going to the hospital, it looks like Murphy was self-medicating with a prescription medicine for cramps and over-the-counter cough medicine. The combination of everything "pushed her over the line."

This is really sad news because it all points towards a few decisions that could have saved the life of Brittany Murphy if those around her had reacted fast enough. With the cause of death being entirely preventable, in the end this is going to be viewed as a tragic accident that just didn't have to happen. Hopefully people don't jump to the continued conclusion that a drug overdose took place here because that is not something that has been reported to be part of the Brittany Murphy autopsy report. The official autopsy report from the L.A. County Coroner will be released a bit later, so right now the information is just from officials at the offices.

Brittany Murphy died on December 20th, 2009, at the age of 32. She had been a very energetic actress that often brought a great spirit to the films that she was working on. Shortly before her death, Murphy had left a film that she was working on, with some sources saying that she had been fired. The loss of another role in the sequel to Happy Feet may have been quite depressing news as well, and it is something that her husband has blamed for her death. When it comes down to the facts, it appears that Murphy did something that we all do when we get sick, and that is to brush it off as something we can treat ourselves and rest off in our own home. This is a tragic reminder that a hospital is sometimes much better equipped.

There is no evidence of her combining prescription drugs at this time. I wish that people would take a step back and wait for the final reports before making these statements.

I would say alot had to do with the drugs more than anything. Im not saying overdose but when you're combining dangerous prescription drugs it will happen
