Brittany Murphy Dead: Actress Not Subject to Celebrity Death Hoax

The ironic thing is that many celebrity death hoaxes come out on Sundays around the time that news of Brittany's death circulated. However, the news was broadcast on many major media outlets including CNN and Fox News. Once you see reports about celebrity deaths on mainstream media outlets, you can be almost positive that they aren't hoaxes.
Ashton Kutcher and other Hollywood stars are Tweeting about her untimely death. She is said to have had movies in post-production that are due out next year. She was such a beautiful young woman and had a very promising career.
Murphy got her first break in the 1995 film "Clueless" co-starring with Alicia Silverstone. Her first acting gig on TV was in 1991 on Murphy Brown. Her first feature film was "Family Prayers" in 1993. She also worked besides powerful celebrities such as Angelina Jolie ("Girl Interrupted") and rapper Eminem ("8 Mile").
There is a lot of speculation about Brittany Murphy's death. There are some reports surfacing that indicate that the actress may have had a history of diabetes. Some speculate that she was on drugs, while others have a feeling she was anorexic.
Only an autopsy will give us concrete evidence as to what happened to the actress. Her husband has expressed that he does not want to have one performed, although it's almost certain that the authorities will have one performed.
Reports say that her mother found her collapsed in the shower. 9-1-1 was called, and emergency rescue workers performed CPR on the actress with no response. Once she arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
What a sad day. It's too close to the holidays to be dealing with the death of someone so bright and friendly. Hollywood won't be the same without Brittany Murphy. She was an inspiration for many. Her fans will miss her, and look forward to the day when there are answers as to why she died.

A real shame...I recall how surprised I was by her and Silverstone's excellent work in "Clueless," one of the few movies of the past 20 years that far surpassed my expectations for it....
I believe she died from anorexia. She was extremely thin. Plus, if you husband does not want an autopsy, she probably had drugs in her system. Otherwise, why would he care?

Brittany Murphy died of NATURAL CAUSES most likely. I've known Brittany Murphy since I worked with her on Clueless and continued to be acquainted with her over the past several years. She is a lovely young woman, full of grace, kindness and was a ray of sunshine on every movie set or charity event that I've ever encountered with her. I'm deeply saddened and shocked by her death. I'm also angry at the insensitive comments left by some anonymous people accusing her of drug use. Brittany has died of natural causes and has had health issues in the past with asthma and diabetes from my understanding. I would ask that people be respectful of the family, especially her fantastic mother, Sharon. My prayers go out to Brittany and her loved ones during this horrible tragedy.

she was an amazing person as herself and for her job. I think she should be recognized for her job, she was an amazing actress, and thats what she worked for and I think she would want to be remembered for it. she will be missed.
