Brittany Murphy Dies at Age of 32
Actress Brittany Murphy Has Died After Going into Full Cardiac Arrest Sunday Morning
Brittany Murphy is an actress that has been seen in many Hollywood movies, and though she hasn't been in what would be classified as a "hit" lately, she still has a long resume of work in the industry. Some of the key roles that may be recognized by film-goers were a starring role in 8 Mile (with Eminem), Little Black Book, Sin City, and a supporting role in the Alicia Silverstone film Clueless. Murphy had recently been in the news for being dismissed from a film that had been in production, with a mystery surrounding whether she was fired from the role or had simply quit.
Now this morning, the sad news has come out that Brittany Murphy has died. It's very shocking news because Murphy had never seemed like someone who was at risk, and she just seemed far too young for something like this to happen to her. Apparently a 911 call was made at about 8:00 A.M. this morning from the home of Murphy's husband Simon Monjack. It may be Murphy's home as well, and it also appears that her mother was staying there because she found Murphy. According to the report that TMZ.com has released, Murphy was found in unconscious in the shower, and had CPR performed on her until paramedics could arrive.
The CPR was continued on an unresponsive Murphy as she was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, but she was pronounced dead at the hospital. This is really tragic news, because Brittany Murphy always seemed to have that spunk and spirit that made her very likable as an actress. She wasn't in the best of films that Hollywood had to offer, but even in the bad roles she was fun to watch. Now Hollywood has lost one of its young comedians and it is sure to become a huge story as people try to get to the bottom of what exactly happened to Brittany Murphy.

Post a CommentGreat reporting on a sad event.
shocking.
Sounds quite a bit like what happened to Karen Capenter, another beautiful girl who starved herself so thin, she had heart failure
Very sad and shocking news! She was so young...
"Wasn't at risk." Are you kidding me? She was about 75% of what her weight should have been for her height and age. She was anorexic. Any doctor in eyesight of her could have told you it was coming. If you starve yourself, the potassium deficiency alone can cause cardiac arrest, not to mention the rest of the problems that go with it. Doesn't matter if she did drugs or not (since there's no way to know right now if she did): at that weight, it was only a matter of time before she keeled over. Hollywood is disgusting, supporting the skeleton thin image. Gross. This is what it does to women: it kills them.
Sad...I liked "Clueless."
