Brittany Murphy's death was caused by pneumonia according to the most recent autopsy results. Charlotte fans continue to mourn the loss of Brittan Murphy, with local fan club members questioning the latest autopsy information.

Brittany Murphy's death shocked her fans, as the health issues of the young actress were not known to everyone. However, even those close to Brittany never expected her death at such a young age.

Taking multiple medications, including some that may have seemed like routine cold medications is dangerous for anyone. A person who is a diabetic or has any other illness should only take certain cold and cough remedies if advised to do so by a physician.

Many over-the-counter products for treating common ailments are found in most homes. Read the labels. Some, but not all, clearly state they should not be used with other medications. Every year thousands arrive in an emergency room because medications were taken together that should never be combined.

Pneumonia is a leading cause of death in the United States. While pneumonia can be treated with antibiotics or antivirals depending on the type of pneumonia a person has, many go undiagnosed. Some are also misdiagnosed, which may seem hard to believe. CDC reports show that more than 50,000 people die of pneumonia each year in this country alone.

Toxicology reports for Brittany Murphy apparently indicated she was also suffering from anemia. At the time of her death, Brittany's mother reported that Brittany suffered from type-2 diabetes.

Regardless of what caused Brittany Murphy's death, there is no happy ending for anyone. Family, fans and friends won't forget this sweet and talented star.
