Brittany Murphy's Husband, Simon Monjack, Found Dead, Sharon Murphy Connection?

Simon "Conjack" Monjack Autopsy on the Way

Brittany Murphy's 39-year-old widower husband Simon Monjack, dubbed as "Conjack", was found dead in his California home Sunday night. Murphy, 32, was found unresponsive just before 8 a.m. on December 20, 2009 by her mother Sharon. Monjack died only five months following his wife's death.

Let's turn the clock back. Monjack refused his wife an autopsy (rumored due to religious reasons) resulting in multiple eyebrows to lift across the globe. But the L.A. County Coroner's Office still had an autopsy when the death began in standard procedure as an investigation. The autopsy concluded no foul play. Monjack was cleared of any wrong doing. Brittany Murphy's cause of death was pneumonia.

Monjack's past is not news which reflects arrest warrants and possible deportation prior to his marriage to American actress Brittany Murphy. Murphy married Monjack just two years before she was pronounced dead. We repeat, possible deportation then marriage, draw your own "green card" conclusion. Telegraph educates if you missed that lesson.

And we cannot forget Monjack's sleek way of grabbing $150k from Factory Girl, the movie, according to director George Hickenlooper as shown in a comment #18 and #26 via Hollywood Elsewhere. He pins Monjack as a con artist, even though perhaps it was an odd place to air dirty laundry - Hickenlooper was not the only one who tried to spread that message. Since the marriage between Monjack and Murphy various postings were found across the web warning Murphy of a potential downfall.

After Brittany's death Monjack joined Murphy's mother in building the Brittany Murphy Foundation rumored to assist in cancer research. The foundation was launched on February 4, 2010, just over one month after Muphy's death. But that is not a crime. Many people create foundations asking for money then posting a message to return the money since the "foundation" could not find approval as a non-profit organization. And that is just where the Brittany Murphy Foundation stood - flat on the face.

Could it be possible that Monjack and Sharon Murphy tried to gather funds using Brittany Murphy's stardom as their golden key? Perhaps, but not confirmed.

Just two months ago Celebrity Fix shared a double whammy and two-sided Monjack blade. Celebrity shared the Sun report where Monjack claimed he and Murphy's mother were not a love interest after assumptions ran wild. Also, Celebrity went the entire nine yards by adding Radar Online's documentary where Monjack shared photos of the very bathroom where Murphy died.

What kind of guy would take photos of the very place their wife died and shared her potential hording issues with the world? Most people would either box the thousands of loose items up, take the photo to place inside of a box, not for public view, and preserve the wife's private memory and reputation out of respect for the dead. Let's not forget that at any given time Monjack could have thrown all kinds of junk on the counters of that bathroom. "Poor Monjack, look at what he had to deal with" sympathy card seemingly appeared his next move.

But that was then and this is now. Outside of an imagination running wild perhaps Sharon Murphy could use a shoulder to lean on. Question is, would it be the attorney's shoulder while he reads Monjack's will?

The 9:40 p.m. 911 caller, rumored to be Brittany's mother Sharon, asked for prompt assistance. Sharon Murphy seems to pop up as the unlucky person to find unresponsive people. She did live with Brittany and Simon so it's not unheard of to be the last one to see them alive. However, two within five months time is a bit much in comparison.

There is no confirmation that Sharon Murphy had anything to do with her roomate's death. But one thing is for sure - out of respect for the death of Monjack - give a moment of silence in remembrance of Brittany Murphy.

Simon Monjack was found dead late Sunday in his Los Angeles home as shared by ABC News. According to Sgt. Alex Ortiz, police spokesperson, foul play has been ruled out. However, the coroner's office states it's too early to say just what Monjack died from. Future test results should shed light on Monjack's death.
