1 cup sunflower seeds unsalted
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup low fat mayonnaise **
1 Tbsp vinegar
4 Tbsp sugar
4 strips of bacon (cut up fine with scissors and then fry and drain well)
Cut up and wash broccoli and drain. Mix broccoli, sunflower seeds, raisins, and bacon.
Mix vinegar, sugar in a small kettle over heat, just until sugar is dissolved, let cool, or set in ice water to cool fast)
Add mayonnaise to the sugar and vinegar and mix good. Pour over your broccoli salad.
**( you can use
Marzetti's low fat coleslaw dressing to eliminate the sugar and vinegar.
or you can use the light of low fat mayonnaise, vinegar and a sugar substitute)
You also can add onion if you like. We don't care for the onion so I don't add it.

Thank you all for your comments. I don't like the raisins myself so I pick mine out, but my husband loves the raisins. So I just have the fun of picking them out and leaving them for him. Hugs Mary
