Who's young
But knows pain and sorrow
He walks with a cane
Some horrible sickness
Crippled him in three days
It started in his ankle
Just pain
By the weekend he couldn't walk
Our best friend
Up for anything
Running through the woods
Helping in anyway he could
He's still here
But his heart hurts
He'll probably never be the guy who he once was
That kills him
I'd do anything for him
I run parts, grab tools for him
Anything to make it easier on his body
But I cannot help his mind
I wish I could
I'd do anything to make him better
He's broken
More than that his spirit is broken
