If you have ever suffered from a small case of bronchitis at one time or another, you will probably remember how miserable it was to have it. A small case of it will usually happen during the winter months. Some symptoms can include a nose that is runny, coughing, sneezing along with tiredness. Until your bronchitis disappears, what do you do? I have compiled a list of home remedies that you can do to make this ordeal a little bearable to live with.

1. Sleep and then sleep some more. Your body right now is attempting to battle this infection. It is going to need all the rest it can get. The amount you get is up to you. Do yourself a big favor and go to bed a few hours earlier than usual. Your body will appreciate it.

2. Get a humidifier for your bedroom. Extra moisture in the air right now it an absolute must for you and a humidifier will help do the trick. You will cough more but you need to as it helps to fight the infection.

3. Drink a lot of liquids. These can include water, juice, tea, soup, etc. It will aid in thinning out the mucus that is inside your lungs. Anything like hot soup will also help to ease your sore throat from all that coughing.

3. Take a nice hot bath! Just sit there and soak for awhile. The steam here will work just like the humidifier in your bedroom. It will bring up and out what your body needs to. Not to mention it can do wonders for your chest.

4. Eat onions. The onions will help to turn the phlegm into liquid. It also helps to lower the number of bronchial spasms that you will have.

5. Good old Echinacea. I mentioned Echinacea in my ways to fight a cold article. It's great to use here because it will help to build up your immune system while your body is trying to rid itself of this infection. It aids in triggering the white blood cells in your body. It is reasonable priced and you can buy them in pill form or capsule too to make tea. They also sell the tea by itself if you don't prefer capsules.

6. Add ginger to your water. You can file this under drinking a lot of liquids. We want that phlegm up and out of the lungs and the ginger will help this.

There you go! A simple list that's easy to do at home. Get well soon!
