Brooke Burke's image is multi-faceted. The 39-year-old model, businesswoman, mother of four and TV personality is best known as the co-host of "Dancing with the Stars." She appears in the January issue of "Shape," as reported at People. Part of Brooke Burke's multi-faceted resume is her work as a nude model. The 39-year-old mother of four, in a relationship with French singer and actor David Charvet, has appeared nude in the pages of "Playboy" and in the site Blue Nudes.

Female celebrities typically downplay nude photos or turn down offers to pose nude, but Burke takes a different attitude

"I never intended to make the crossover from modeling to hosting, let alone acting, but when an incredible opportunity comes along, I'm up for it," said Brooke Burke, who with all of her opportunities, is worth at least $9 million. It's no surprise that she appears on the cover of January's "Shape." Burke has a long history as a swimsuit model for companies such as Venus and has always looked good.

But for the woman who has appeared nude in the pages of "Playboy" and at the site Blue Nudes, her past hasn't stopped her from becoming a "Mommy Correspondent" on "The Doctors" or from facing millions of people every week, alongside Tom Bergeron, on "Dancing with the Stars." Burke is also one of the CEO's of Modern Mom and the owner of a maternity and fitness site, Baboosh Baby. Indeed, Burke plays on her past with the title of her new book, "The Naked Mom: A Modern Mom's Fearless Revelations,Savvy Advice, and Soulful Reflections," where Burke appears on the cover, private parts covered up, but naked nonetheless. "I am so excited to share my take on motherhood-uncensored, revealing, vulnerable and sexy. From bringing up a blended family, to balancing a career in entertainment, to carpooling in stilettos, I have found my own way to gracefully raise four children by accepting that there is no right or wrong way to approach motherhood," said Burke.

When there's nothing to hide, there's no scandal

If you've got nude photos in your past and you've never mentioned it, tabloids love to reveal them. The same approach doesn't work with Brooke Burke, because not only does she not hide her nude photos, she's proud of them. Brooke Burke's image is unharmed, because she embraces her past as well as her present. There are people who do not approve of nude photos, but you can't live your life to please everyone. Burke has shown that by living your life on your own terms you can still find tremendous success.
