Brooke White Pulls Off Hero

Writing Pro
Brooke White, the petite blonde voice of soul in this year's "American Idol," managed to pull of the high belting songs of Mariah Carey with "Hero."

Brooke played the piano and put her own twist on the number, making it her own. She is the current female forerunner but will be run over by the gentlemen. While I would love to see a final three of Brooke, David Archuletta and David Cook, I'm not sure if her fan base is large enough to keep her around until then.

She has the talent to be a young Carol King and I fully expect to see much more of this young lady in the future, just not likely as an "American Idol" winner.

What I think attracts people to her is similar to what attracts people to youngin' David Archuletta. It's her innocence and honesty. Brooke really puts herself out there each performance and isn't afraid to let her emotions do what they will as she sings and plays.

She's pure and her face is transparent. It's easy to see what she's thinking and feeling. Her genuine smile and love for life and music will take her far. We can only hope the music industry won't jade or harden her because her purity is beautiful. Expect to see a lot more of Brooke White, she's here to stay.

I love writing. I write about anything and everything, basically whatever is on my mind at the time and sometimes it can be very emotionally charged....   View profile

Nice job! I haven't seen much of "American Idol," but I have heard a lot of positive buzz about Brooke!
