Brookhurst 4 Theaters in Anaheim, California - Movies on the Cheap

Loraine Alkire
Brookhurst 4 Theaters located at 2299 W. Ball Road, Anaheim Ca, 92804 is a bargain and a half. The movies are new (less than two months out in regular theaters). The price for a matinee is just $2.00; evening performances are just $2.50. To give you an idea of what you can see they are currently showing, Despicable Me, Easy A, Legend of the Guardians, Machete, and Resident Evil: Afterlife the Town.

For theater lovers on a budget this is a great find. As the name implies this theatre has four viewing rooms. The rooms are medium sized and quite comfortable with red velvet seating and the usual accoutrements in theatre décor.

They also have a $5.00 dollar small soda and popcorn deal that as you know beats the price of most mainstream movie theatres. They have a full snack bar and arcade games both priced slightly under most theaters.

If you have a passel of kids or grandkids, this is definitely the place to go in Orange County, Calif. Imagine hitting a matinee for four for what would normally cost you an arm and a leg. Take them to Santia's Pizza just around the corner for lunch and you will have a great time for less than a twenty-dollar bill. Now, that is styling on a budget. Kids love going to the movies rather than just watching them at home. Nevertheless, with the price of tickets even for a child soaring past $8.00 for a matinee, it is not always the ideal way to spend your hard-earned dollars. Still the experience of actually 'going' is what gets big or little kids so enthused.

Chances are you have wanted to go see some of these movies and still have not had time yet. The new generation of teens and young adults are totally into saving money or at least spending it wisely. A guy can show his savvy side by taking a girl on a date to a theatre such as this, especially if it means money left for that 'Caramel Frappuccino' at Starbucks , which is just waiting at the end of the strip mall for conversation afterward. Yes, Gen X and Gen Next are all about saving a buck. I am at the tail end of the 'baby-boomer Gen' and I think it is 'spot on' for these economic times no matter what generation you are from.
