The Promenade Partnership gardeners need some extra helping hands from the community. Thousands of flowers will be planted in the Brooklyn Heights Promenade garden and volunteers are needed to dig beds in order for them to bloom by next spring.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome and encouraged to help out with this community beautification project. Volunteers will meet at the flagpole on Montague Street and possibly meet up for coffee afterward, according to Brooklyn Heights Blog.
