Brothers BBQ in Denver, Colorado - Some of the Best BBQ in the U.S.

Brothers BBQ is Worth the Trip!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! All you bar-b-que lovers, if you've never traveled to Denver and sampled the bar-b-que at Brothers, you do not know what you are missing!

I have lived in various cities throughout the U.S. and have sampled BBQ at multiple places, everywhere from Memphis Tennessee and St. Louis Missouri to Milwaukee Wisconsin, and also from Houston Texas to Denver Colorado. All I can say is thank the Bar-B-Que Gods for Brothers BBQ in Denver!

Brothers BBQ has multiple locations around Denver making it convenient to all. The bar-b-que sauce is a vinegar based sauce (with other ingredients), giving a sweet and savory flavor to the meats. The meats include pork, beef, chicken and sausage and are of the best quality. Meats are smoked slowly then basted with sauce, that is good enough to drink, and placed on the grill to caramelize and brown. Yummers...

As I stated, Brothers has multiple locations. I frequented the one located at I-25 and Arapahoe as it was closest to my home, however I have no doubt that every location would be just as pleasant, clean, organized, and staffed with friendly, helpful staff. The menu offers sandwiches, full meals, family sized meals and periodic specials. Let's not forget dessert! Oh My Gosh! Even though the main meal servings are very generous one must save room for dessert. My favorite was the Sweet Potato Pie. Pecan pie, banana pudding and chocolate mousse are also offered at the affordable price of about $2.99 a serving. In fact, the price on all of the menu items is incredibly reasonable. The favorite of mine was the ½ Chicken special which included two sides and a roll, with my choices of sides being baked beans (with added pork), and their wonderful, tangy mustard potato salad. They also offer fries, cole slaw and chips.

The atmosphere at Brothers is casual, making it a great place for singles, friends, or families. The family meals (called "Packs") make it easy to feed a family of four for $20.00 to $35.00, depending on the main meat ordered. On one occasion I did order a "Game Day" Pack which included a rack of the best ribs I've ever eaten and two large sides. (Yep, you guessed it; I opted for my favorite, the beans and potato salad!) This Pack fed six of us while watching a Bronco's game - and I don't know which was better, the food or the game! In fact, the next time it was my turn to provide the snacks my friends ordered Brothers BBQ!

Sandwiches are large and a deal at $5.50, -- brisket, hot link, shredded pork and chicken, -- with one sandwich made with a combination of all meats! Just the thought of the combo sandwich makes my mouth water, and as I said before the sauce is good enough drink! Oh, speaking of drink - the drinks are also affordable at $1.79 which to me is an added plus if feeding a family. (They do serve beer for those dining in, but I am not sure of the price).

Brothers BBQ also offers salads, a dinner salad as well as one loaded with the meat of your choice. Although I did not try the salads they sure sound good don't they?

In my opinion Brothers BBQ is well worth the stop if traveling in Denver. Heck, it's well worth the trip to go to Denver just to sample their fare! Don't take my word for it though, check it out yourself; I just found out they have a web site at: http//www.BrothersBBQ.com, which offers much more information as well as the locations of and directions to all the other sites.

All I can add to this is Bon Appetit!
