Bruce Beresford-Redman: Arrest Warrant Issued for Murder of Monica Burgos
Her husband, Bruce Beresford-Redman, is now the subject of an arrest warrant for the first-degree homicide of Monica Burgos in Mexico. This news of an arrest warrant has been confirmed by General Francisco Alor, Attorney General of Mexico.
Bruce Beresford-Redman: Visible Scratches on Body
When Bruce was questioned about Monica's murder he had visible scratches on his body. Prior to Monica's disappearance, hotel guests witnessed Monica and Bruce fighting.
Bruce had also obtained two life insurance polices on Monica's life just a week or so before she was killed. He purchased the life insurance policies from InsureMyTrip.com and Worldwide Insurance. Why were the policies purchased prior to the trip just after Monica had found out about Bruce's affair with a co-worker?
Bruce Beresford-Redman: Wanted by Mexico
Mexico wants Bruce back in that country to answer further questions for the investigation. Bruce refuses to return to Mexico. If Mexico attempts to extradite him the process may take several years.
Trip to Cancun after Affair
Monica had been trying to save her marriage prior to her murder. Bruce had had an affair with a co-worker. The trip to Cancun was supposed to be romantic. Perhaps if she had just ended the marriage at news of the affair she would still be alive.
High Crime at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun?
Doubt remains however if Beresford-Redman is the only possible suspect in this crime. There was a rape at the Moon Palace Resort, where the couple was staying, just a few days before the murder of Monica Burgos.
A woman from Scotland was also murdered at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun in the past year too. What bearing, if any, will these past crimes have on this murder trial?
Who Will Get Custody?
Monica's side of the family would like custody of her children. That seems logical as the father is now accused of her murder. It is tragic that two young kids have lost their mother. Let's hope they are put into a stable environment with one of Monica's sisters so they can find comfort in their time of pain and loss.

The children always end up losing everything and everyone that they love. It's so sad, if Bruce Beresford-Redman is guilty, I hope his trial is swift. cheers for the reporting
