For those of you who have mastered the bowling game in Wii Sports and wish to go further with a more realistic bowling sim, Crave Entertainment has you covered. The videogame developer announced this week that Brunswick Pro Bowling is headed to Nintendo's Wii, as well as PS2 and PSP. Full details after the jump.

Crave Entertainment, a leading publisher of console videogames, today announced Brunswick Pro Bowling for PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system and WiiTM.

Brunswick Pro Bowling will give players a detailed, realistic bowling-center experience, complete with authentic sights and sounds, and official Brunswick bowling gear. Brunswick Pro Bowling will be highly customizable, allowing players to choose everything from their character's appearance and accessories to ball styles.

In Career Mode, players work their way from amateur to professional by competing in a year's worth of bowling tournaments. Ten authentic bowling centers, modeled after actual Brunswick locations, will set the scene. Up to four players can face off in Multiplayer Mode, and Quick Play Mode allows for a fast round of bowling.

Other Brunswick Pro Bowling features include:

  • Realistic physics engine simulates real-time changing lane conditions and accounts for momentum and spin.
  • Unlockable content includes a variety of Brunswick balls, additional bowling centers, equipment and apparel.
  • Players in career mode will face rivals, who seek out and challenge them throughout their careers.
PSP® system version will include ad hoc wireless multiplayer mode and additional character customization options.

So let me ask this: just what can players expect in this new Wii bowling title? How about official Brunswick bowling gear, the realistic sights and sounds of your nearest smelly bowling alley, and the ability to customize your bowler just the ways you want from how you look to the very ball you throw? You get all of that - and then you get to take him on a new career from amateur to professional by competing a whole year of tournaments in ten authentic bowling centers.

Brunswick Pro Bowling also includes four-player multiplayer and a 'Quick Play' to just through a few frames. The game's unique physics engine will change how the lane behaves in real-time forcing you to adjust your speed and spin after each frame ever so slightly. Gamers wanting a more advanced bowling title that had Wii Sports leave an unfulfilled feeling in their stomach now have something to look forward to, and rather quickly at that.

Brunswick Pro Bowling has yet to be rated by the ESRB. Release date and pricing information is not currently available.
