Problems started following the Haiti disaster several months ago. Following the earthquakes that rocked the lives of thousands, Bubba made some racial and extremely inappropriate comments that I won't even waste the time to acknowlege here. If you seriously want to know what was said, then feel free to Google the Haiti earthquakes and what he said about relief efforts. I was debating on whether to write an article on him or not, because I did not want to waste any valuable time and effort into writing anything that remotely had his name stamped on it. But now that's TNA has released him, I don't feel so bad for what's about to happen here.
Now keep in mind that this is merely my opinion. For those of you who argue my feelings or have your own set of feelings, then you have two options. The first is simply to move on. I value all of my readers. But after a certain amount of hate mail, you tend to take notice. The beauty of it is, it means people are paying attention. If they are taking the time to email me or comment me with their own ideas, that is awesome. It's what this country is about. The second thing you can do is read through until the end and post your thoughts and opinions. Again...I encourage it, because it means people are reading and paying attention. Something my teachers in high school denied my ability to do. How do you like me NOW?
Fact is, Bubba should've kept his mouth shut. If he has a problem with the way our nation's relief efforts and funds are being distributed, fine. But don't go blabbing your mouth about it, especially when you supposedly work for a company where one of the top females at the time was a devoted advocate of the relief in Haiti.
And to top it all off, he was a guest on another radio show recently, and made yet another series of racial and derogatory remarks towards the former TNA Knockouts Champion. TNA Wrestling announced soon after the appearance that he would no longer be used by the company. It was nothing short of music to my ears.
Yeah, we all have our arguments and beliefs. But in many cases, much like this one, they just need to stay silenced. Or at the very least, make it less public. It's turned his image from a barely-known wanna-be shock jock, to barely-known loudmouth, who needs to go back to his Tampa radio market and stop annoying the rest of us nationally.
