Coming off his platinum album (Straight out of Ca$hville) and 2 classics mix tapes, Young Buck is back with his latest album "Buck the World". Looking at the track listing, the 1st thing you realize is that the only G-Unit member on here is 50 Cent. Listing to the album you realize why. The album really has a smooth style of production, that shows off Buck hardcore street lyrics. The 2 singles, "I Know You Want Me" and "Get Buck" shows the buyer what the album has to offer, from a smooth club single to a hard street single. Most of the song like "U Ain't Goin Nowhere", "Slow Ya Roll", and "Buck the World" are easy listing, as he tells about the hardships of when he didn't have a record deal to life after his deal and it sounds like life hasn't change. "Hold On" feat. 50 Cent, shows off that the classic G-Unit formula found back in "Beg For Mercy" still works. 50's hard New York rap style mixed with Buck smooth southern comfort, makes for a great street single. "4 Kings" feat T.I., Young Jeezy, and Pimp C, plays second best to "Say It To My Face" feat. Bun B, 8Ball & MJG, as south collaboration and in "Lose My Mind", Young Buck scream through a power track, showing his frustration. The track "Funeral Music" by 50 Cent, almost let the listener know that G-Unit is still in business as he is next to release a album. 50 is all about a diss record, as he goes for Cam'ron and show that he hasn't lost his touch when it come to being one of the bosses in NY. This is a pick up for true Young Buck, South, and G-Unit fans. For everyone else it just something to listen to until 50 Cent comes out in June.
