Christmas shopping in Chicago is not always easy to do, especially if you are used to shopping Michigan Avenue every holiday season. But, there are several top of the line brands and department stores that offer everything you need to fill your Christmas shopping list and still stay within budget. If you are budget Christmas shopping in Chicago this year, here are a few of my favorite places to get more for less.

CB2, 3757 North Lincoln Avenue

CB2 is a sister company to the popular Crate & Barrel chain, and while this is definitely reflected in the line of housewares, everything is just a little bit different. The no frills items generally found at C&B are just a little bit more no-frills and a little more affordable, but the quality is still there. Everything has a very modern, very clean cut design and there are several unique items that you will not be able to find while budget Christmas shopping anywhere else in Chicago for your home.

CB2 carries affordable kitchen ware, home goods, and unique home décor. CB2 is located at 3757 N. Lincoln Avenue and is right of the Addison Brown line stop.

Nine West Outlet, 2058 North Halsted

Budget Christmas shopping for shoes can be done at Nine West Outlet, just one place of many where you can find some really great deals on shoes and accessories. The Nine West Outlet carries only the Nine West product line though, including a special selection of shoes and accessories that cannot be found in their other stores, and overstock from their flagship and neighborhood stores. There is a general discount given on the overall merchandise, but random shopping trips can sometimes turn up ever greater savings when there are additional percentage off or buy one get one free sales.

Filene's Basement, 830 North Michigan Avenue

All the shopping on Michigan Avenue is not meant to empty out your wallet, there is Filene's Basement after all, where even items that are currently on the rack down the block can be found. Bargain Christmas shopping at Filene's basement can be fun, or a huge challenge, but it is not necessarily hard to find something for everyone on your shopping list. Filene's Basement carries men's and women's clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories for men and women, and limited house wares and décor.

H&M, 840 North Michigan Avenue

Just a couple doors down from Filene's Basement you will find H&M's Michigan Avenue store. H&M is budget clothing galore with a huge collection of trendy and fashion forward staples for every season. For your budget Christmas shopping you can easily check a few friends and family members off your list and help them stock their closet with clothes and shoes. During the Christmas holiday there are several percentage off sales on a huge number of items in the store, but everything goes really fast so make sure you get there early.
