They have a wide range of sandwiches and burgers available at lunch for under $5.00. For dinner you can get an 8 oz ribeye dinner for only $11.75 and add a trip to their salad bar for only $3.95. Overall, it's a great little place to eat.

Hagies is located on Washington St. in Union. I always tell my husband that I feel like I'm eating in someone's living room there, but not in a bad way. There's just something really cozy about it. Their menu is a la carte, but with their prices, you don't really need meal deals. Most of Hagies' appetizers are under $5.00, you can get a 1/4 pound cheese burger for $2.90 with a side of fries for only $1.50. A one topping large pizza at Hagies is only $12.75 and, in my opinion, they have some of the best pizza around. Hagies is definitely a go-to spot for Friday and Saturday nights in Union.

The Pasta House in Union is located right off of Highway 47. Although it's not exactly a locally owned restaurant, they have lots of specials that are budget friendly. Kids eat free on Sundays, for example, and they have an all you can eat pasta special on Mondays for only $11.99. Those who eat there often can sign up for the frequent diner club and get points for their purchases too. The Pasta House in Union is a great option for those who want to be able to dine out at a chain restaurant on a budget.
