Post a CommentAgreed... this list is laughable. These are some of the most expensive venues in the city. A new leaf costs $9,000 to rent out on Saturdays-which includes nothing but the empty space. Also it's the Rookery.. not the Rockery. Who wrote this?
I second Dizzle's comment. I'm looking for wedding venues on a BUDGET and this dude list a few places in the downtown area.
Sorry, but almost none of these are "budget friendly" venues! Rookery Building costs $5500 for rental alone. Chicago Illuminating Company is $7K+ for rental. River East is over $10K for rental!!
I agree with drizzle. I sent a price request for CIC and was quoted for a Saturday event would cost $8,000!
In what world are any of these venues "inexpensive"? I suppose it depends on your definition, but many of these will run you upwards of $30k
