Buffalo Chicken Pizza & Sasuage Pizza Recipes

Pizza is one of the most popular food that Americans eat. You can make pizza anyway you want it, with any toppings that you may want. There are so many options to choose from such as pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, olives, pineapple, chicken, and so many more to even begin to list them all!

One of number one favorite pizza is a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Now, there are many different recipes out there on the internet to make this kind of pizza. However, I make mine a tad bit different than most people or places would make it.

Ingredients

2 Chicken Breasts or a pack of Chicken Tenderloins Sliced Thin

Approx 1 ½ cups of your favorite Buffalo Sauce

2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese

1 Tablespoon of butter

1 package of Pizza Dough Mix

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Take your 1 Tablespoon of butter and melt it in a skillet over medium heat. While your butter is melting, cut the chicken up into small cubes. Once you're done cutting up chicken place the chicken cubes into skillet and cook over medium-high heat until no longer pink.

Once you're chicken is no longer pink, take ½ cup of your favorite Buffalo Sauce and pour over the chicken and continue to cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally so chicken doesn't stick to pan.

Follow the instructions on the Pizza Dough Mix and mix the dough. Once you've mixed together the dough, roll out the dough into a pizza pan or cookie sheet. Bake for 5 minutes then remove from oven.

Take your favorite Buffalo Sauce and spread the sauce over the pre-baked pizza dough. Sprinkle with Mozzarella Cheese over the sauce. Now take the chicken from the skillet and spread out evenly over pizza. If you have any cheese leftover, sprinkle a little bit extra over the chicken. Bake for 9-12 minutes.

Slice, serve, and enjoy!

My second favorite pizza is a Sausage Pizza. Unlike my first recipe, this one you'll be making home-made pizza crust instead of using a pre-packaged dough.

Ingredients

2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon of salt

1 package of dry yeast (1/2 oz package)

1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons of olive oil

¾ cup of pizza sauce

2 cups of mozzarella cheese

1 package of sausage

½ teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Grease a 12 x 9 inch baking sheer. Sift flour and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the yeast. Make a well in the center and add olive oil and 1 cup of lukewarm water. Mix until a soft dough forms. If dough is too sticky, add in 2 tablespoons of flour until it is no longer that sticky. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.

Cook your sausage as directed on package. Roll dough and press into baking sheet. Let sit for 10 minutes at room temperature, and then bake for 5 minutes.

Remove crust from oven and spread pizza sauce on top, leaving a border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over pizza, then your sausage. Sprinkle oregano and pepper on top. Drizzle olive oil over top and bake until golden brown on edges for 15-20 minutes.

Slice, serve, and enjoy!
