Carrabba's Italian Grill is a popular restaurant in the Buffalo area, with other locations across the United States. The Buffalo Carrabba's location is in Amherst, New York, just off of Niagara Falls Boulevard (Route 62). The location is convenient to the New York State 1-290 for diners traveling from Buffalo or Niagara Falls.

Carrabba's Italian Grill is known for Italian food, served in a casually elegant setting. The dining area of Carrabba's is ideal for couples on a romantic date, or for families who want a good Italian dinner on a weekday night. The complimentary, signature bread and seasoned oil dip at Carrabba's is a nice start to any meal.

A variety of wines and alcoholic beverages are available to complete any meal at Carrabba's. The Sangria is a recommended favorite. Guests may call ahead to be put on the wait list at Carrabba's, or try to get a walk-in seating. During the warmer months, Carrabba's opens up a small outdoor patio for additional seating. Weekends tend to be busier at Carrabba's, as well as prime dinner hours, so early or late seating generally gives diners less wait time.

Carrabba's Italian Grill Specialties

Italian food and signature dishes are the highlight at Carrabba's. The menu features classic Italian dishes, such as Lasagne ($11.99), Eggplant Parmesan ($12.49), Chicken Marsala ($15.49), and traditional Spaghetti ($11.49) and Manicotti ($12.49). Carraba's best dishes are often the ones that repeat visitors keep returning for. The Carraba's Pasta Weesie dish ($13.99) is a favorite that combines sauteed shrimp, mushrooms, scallions, and garlic with white wine sauce and lemon butter over fettuccini alfredo. This is a unique and tasty Italian dish at Carraba's.

Grilled dining options are also on the menu at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Grilled Salmon ($17.99), Sirloin Marsala ($17.99), and Polla Rosa Maria ($15.99) are a few of the grilled options. Dinners come with a variety of sides, depending on the menu selection. House salad or soup is offered with most menu choices.

Appetizers at Carraba's include Italian favorites such as the Antipasti Platter ($10.49), Calamari ($8.49), and Grilled Brushette ($7.99). Wood-Fired Pizzas, homemade soups, and salads are also available for starters.

Desserts at Carrabba's are delicious Italian favorites, such as Tiramisu, Cannoli, and Sogno di Cioccolata. The large serving sizes of most dinners are generally enough to generously fill most appetites, however, so plan to save room for dessert ahead of time.

The Carrabba's Experience

Carrabba's has become a favorite local restaurant when Italian food is on my mind. The carside to go feature at Carraba's also makes it convenient to pick up a few Carrabba's specialties and bring it home to serve on a weekday night. The quality of food at Carrabba's is good for the reasonable prices, and the Carrabba's signature dishes are unique and tasty. On the last visit to Carrabba's my sister raved about the Rigatoni Martino (rigatoni tossed with grilled chicken, sauteed mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and a tomato cream sauce). She declared it to be, "delicious and filling."

There are many excellent choices on the menu at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Garlic lovers should try one of Carrabba's garlic-flavored menu choices, such as the Scampi Damian, or the Pasta Weesie. Guests with milder tastes will not go wrong with one of Carrabba's traditional Italian red sauce dishes such as the Manicotti, Lasagne, or the Carrabba's Spaghetti.

Reservations for Carraba's can be made by phoning (716)833-4228. Carrabba's is located at 1646 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst, NY 14228.
