Building Muscle Mass the Quick and Fun Way

The best way to build muscular tissue is to find a regime that works and you will continue. Two things a person should stay away from while building muscular mass are: steroid usage and doing too much activity too quickly. Steroid usage can cause a person to have uncontrollable moments of rage while doing too much activity in a short amount of time can cause body damage and fatigue.

A fun way to build brawn in the upper arms if you are a mother or father is to lift your baby up and down. This activity makes both parents and baby happy as it is also increasing interaction between them. I used this method a lot when my children were born. This is an exercise method taught in Baby and Me classes that I did at home. The speed of muscle building may be in question with this method but it is definitely a fun one.

My husband is focused on building muscular mass in his arms. One method that has worked for him, and quickly also, is grabbing the top of our door frames to rooms in our house and rocking back and forth using his weight. He has to do this now without me watching because one day I tickled him when I saw him do it. My family knows if I see arm pits, I will tickle. My husband will do this roughly fifteen times a day and it is an intense workout for his arms.

Because protein builds muscular tissue, be sure you are consuming enough protein to help build the tone you desire. Remember what goes into the body will help give desired results. I hate to use the cliché but we are what we eat.

It is not necessary to spend hours at the gym to gain muscle if your workouts are very intense and consistent. If you want to quickly build muscular mass, eat more meals-such as 5-7 instead of the usual 4. Remember that in consuming more food than you were it is critical to eat food that will help your body with energy and stamina. The extra food should contain an abundance of protein. Energy and stamina are critical for muscle building. Water is more important than food in a body building plan. Drink about .6 ounces of water for every pound you weigh each day. Sleeping is also important because it gives your muscles the rest they need to heal and be ready to go the next day.

Another product that should be avoided when building muscular tissue is supplements. Over the counter supplements that promise results quickly may or may not be safe. Here is a quote taken directly from the FDA website

Understand that building muscle will take time. A person cannot go from having small muscles in a specific area to being toned in one week. Resist the temptation to overdo things because from personal experience, I can say overworking your muscles to the point of torn ligaments make it difficult to return to the same regime. Once your muscle tone is where you want it to be, it will be important to continue as muscles do not turn to fat but do atrophy. Building muscle is going to take time in the best of circumstances.
