Building a Network Marketing Income that Pays You for Life

Wendy Rahilly
Let us first start with saying that a network marketing income is basically any form of income utilizing the home based business, MLM, affiliate marketing, turnkey home business or direct sales model. Now with this basic knowledge, why don't we expand a little on exactly how network marketing benefits you and what you can do to build a generous, substantial income from it.

Network Marketing allows anyone to start their own business from their home. It does not require a Hugh capital investment such as a franchise like McDonalds. You can usually start a home business for under $100 and build a lifetime income from it. This is what is so appealing to network marketers. When building your network marketing income you are not just making up front sales. You have the ability to make what is called a residual income. Residual income is a type of income where you do the work once and keep getting paid over and over for it for years to come. It is a really great concept and has enabled many people to become millionaires nationwide.

With this type of business, you are not actually working for anyone but yourself, therefore you are not considered an employee but rather an Independent Contractor. This type of business works great for stay at home moms because it minimizes the costs of daycare and transportation costs while allowing the mother to make an income while staying home with her children.

Anyone who owns a computer can make a network marketing income easily. Because the internet has millions and millions of viewers nationwide, there is great potential of earning a substantial income that you can retire on simply by setting up a home business online. Basically, all you have to do is find a product or service you want to promote, build a website or blog and simply promote. If this sounds intimidating to you, there are a lot of resources out there that teach you how to do this. Just do a search for "network marketing training" on the internet and explore the possibilities.

Network Marketing is not only about making personal sales and earning commissions. There is much more to it. You also have the ability to recruit team members in your downline and earn a percentage off of their sales as well. Every time one of your team members makes a sale, you get paid. Obviously, the more you recruit and add people to your team, the bigger your income becomes. Do not forget about the residual income factor here, you are earning residual commissions from your team members sales as well. Can you see how big you can grow your lifetime income?

Not everyone is cut out for network marketing. Many people have tried to make a network marketing income but have failed. There are many reasons for this. Statistics find that usually the cause for failure is either not putting in enough effort into the business or quitting before giving proper time for the business to start growing. You have to understand that a network marketing business takes time to become prosperous. Think of it like a tree. You plant a seed, do you expect the tree to grow overnight? Of course not. So, you plant your business seed (you start your business), you need to harvest it (plant your seeds through promotion of any kind, recruit, train your team, etc) and only after this will you begin to see your tree (business) grow. Do not quit ever as you never know when your seed will begin to sprout and produce the biggest tree (income) you can imagine.
