Features
The game has the following features:
Easy to use controls
Engaging game play
Exceptional graphics
Main Review
The game itself is pretty straightforward. The player controls the blue ball, known as Buka, helping the character fight off the enemies and navigate the obstacles to find The Happy Place.
Obstacles or enemies come in the form of rocks that come at the character, varying in speed and intensity. Players can fend off the obstacles by causing explosions or shockwaves.
Controls are rather easy. Touching the screen and holding the touch makes shock waves of varying degrees and explosions as well. It all depends on how intensely the player touches or holds his finger on the screen. Movement is controlled by the accelerometer or through tapping and dragging the blue ball around.
Game play is simple - players take care of the blue ball as they aid the character in finding The Happy Place. The game itself becomes more difficult as the player progresses through the game. The aim is to get to the end of the level without getting the character hurt too badly. If the character does get to beat up, players will need to redo the level.
This is not as intense a game as, say, other role-playing games. However, it does require a bit of skill. It does not necessarily suck a person into the story, and that in itself makes the game extremely interesting. Players can simply play the game, put it down for a bit and go back again once the desire arises.
The game has clean graphics and sound. It is by no means fancy or ground breaking, but it has a high replay value. People will want to keep coming back to the game.
Pricing
Buka is available from the App Store for only $0.99.
Conclusion
The game graphics and sound are far above average, as are the controls for the game and the ease of use. Game play and user interface are also excellent. The game's replay value gets a high rating, as well. Overall, the game gets a solid 4 out of 5. Highly Recommended!
