Bull Burrito

If Anyone Asks, I'm an Angel of the Lord

Tao Joannes
Ladies and gentlemen step right up.
Come taste the shit you have sown.
Follow me to the kennel to see
How big our little puppies have grown.

New dogs with old tricks.
Perfected before the glimmer of
Jesusland and the
Apostolic order of the holy moose and squirrel
First crept past Mary's wandering virgin eyes.

If anyone asks, I'm an angel of the lord.

All praise this bullshit burrito.
A red, white, and blue blunt
Packed so tight with tea leaves and lies
Its got a whole damn nation screaming
For kickdown chainsmoke
To wrap around their ankles and eyes,
Like a strand of five pound test
That keeps elephants
Orbiting chopsticks.

But they can't tell the difference
Between nylon and stainless steel,
Cast iron or poly-cotton fibers,
Polo shirtsleeves or an Iron Maiden.
And only know the pain
That testing limits brings,

When the indignity
Of having a master
That an errant sneeze could squish
Sets their heads bobbin'
And feet movin'
Stronger than fear.

In search of freedom,
More than tastee flavor for spin chefs.
Freedom
Not just a walk round the exercise yard
Freedom
Like 4:25 on the last day of high school
Freedom
Like a hardcore facial
Freedom
Like 50 pound jews in shower shoes
Watching Sherman tanks ramming iron gates
Freedom
Between the gunshot and siren, dad.

There's only so far you can stretch it
'Til the latex snaps
Like a redheaded stepchild
With meth mouth,
And the road will rise to meet your face
And the ass lets slip the harness
And turns to trample pearls and rend you
Executive from legislative limb
Before a jury you aren't fit
To call your peers.

Hallelujah!
Please pass the biscuits.

These bites they been forcin past my lips
Have me coughin up fire
That their pills can't soothe in my throat
And I can't swallow anymore today
Without spittin' up some bullsh*t,
Again.
