Bum Marketing is Free, but Requires Lots of Work

Bum marketing is free or really cheap, but you have to work hard at it. I will cover many aspects of Bum marketing that I can.

Bum marketing is great because it is free, well it costs me $10 a month for a premium account at UsFreeAds. I can also advertise as many products as I want.

You have to pick a product that you want to sell and then you have to plan a website around it, which are usually called landing pages. Squidoo and Hubpages (there are others) are perfect for this. They already have organic traffic, which gives you a head start. I have put up websites, and worked my butt off driving traffic to these websites. With websites like Squidoo and Hubpages, they are a great help in getting traffic to your websites. These two sites are called social networking websites.

You have to have a visible presence on these websites to make them work for you. This includes joining groups or clubs, visiting other people's websites, leaving comments, visiting the forum, etc. Then other members will come and visit your site, leave comments, rate your website etc.

You should put up as many landing pages, with different themes as you possibly can, you should be catering to different niches. I do that with my store. I have Squidoo lenses for Disney, Shoes, Nightmare Before Christmas, and more. I do not just have a website for my store, but for different product lines.

So, you have set up your landing page, now you have to write articles. These articles will explain the usefulness of the product that you are trying to sell, and explain why the customer may want to buy them, or how useful these items might be to the prospective customer. I try to write two or three articles a day.

It is imperative that you look over keywords for your articles. You want these keywords to rank high, so that when people are looking for your products, they will find you. I personally use Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Article Base, Associated Content, Article99, and more.

I also use UsFreeAds. I have had a great response with this website. The first ad I had put up was for a pair of TUK shoes, had over 30 views of the ad within 24 hours! Google had spidered the ad, and the views were incredible. I have a premium account with UsFreeAds, because I will rank higher than free accounts in searches.

Oh yes, before I forget you will require a blog. I personally, am falling a little behind in setting up blogs. We have an hosting account with GoDaddy and I set up all my blogs over there. It costs 1.99 for an .info domain extension, and I buy as many as I can, and set up the blogs. So, there is always more articles for these blogs. When you get into Bum Marketing you are always writing. It never stops.
