Dana
You can help the environment and cover your baby's tush all at once! Parents are natural multi-taskers anyway right?
Disposable diapers are filling up our landfills at a record pace. Most are filled with chemicals we can't even pronounce. Yet we slap them on our children without a second thought. Who wants to sit around day and night in paper? I know I don't!
Have you considered cloth diapers for your child? Today's cloth can be just as easy as disposables, only without the chemicals and added waste. No diaper pins or rubber pants I promise!
Bumkins All-In-Ones are made here in the United States, right in Arizona. They can be found easily in a variety of shops online. These diapers are one of the easiest to use cloth diapers on the market today. They are a favorite among babysitters, grandparents and dads!
Bumkins are designed with a 100% cotton flannel inner, so only the softest fabrics are touching your baby's skin. The waterproof out shell is made of 100% polyester. No cover or rubber pants needed! These diapers have a simple hook and loop (Velcro) closure system, making it truly just as easy as putting a disposable on your child.Whether you like plain white or adorable prints the choice is yours. There are many options in prints. They come in boy, girl and gender neutral. The most popular prints are the Dr. Seuss series. The Grinch, One Fish Two Fish, Green Eggs and Ham or Cat in the Hat all are available to adorn the bottom of your little one.
Bumkins come in four sizes. When ordering, allow for a small amount of shrinkage.

Small 6-12 lbs.
Medium 12-22 lbs.
Large 22-32 lbs.
Extra Large 32-42 lbs.

Laundering is a breeze. Wash in warm water with half as much detergent than you would normally use on a small load of laundry. An extra rinse at the end of the cycle is recommended. No bleach should be use on your diapers. Bleach rapidly breaks down the fibers of fabrics. Also, refrain from using fabric softener or dryer sheets. These have the tendency to coat the inner fabric compromising the diaper's absorbency.Tumble dry one cycle. If your diapers are not fully dry, hang drying is recommended.
Prices vary from store to store but the average for a plain white Bumkin is around $15.95 and $17.95 for a print. The price may seem like a lot but try to take into account that these diapers can be used again and again. You can even save them and use them for future children. You can't say the same about a disposable! Think about it as an investment!
Re-selling is common in the cloth diapering community. A well cared for diaper can keep most of its retail value. You can always sell your used diapers if you child potty learns or moves up in size.
