ARBA rabbit show
Neighborhood: Seven Springs Ranch
Glide , OR 97470
United States of America
Saturday found the horse arena at the Seven Springs Ranch near Glide filled with an assortment of purebred rabbits all vying for the title Best in Show!! There were over 900 prepaid entries in this two shows, one day, once a year event held here to give local breeders a chance to present their rabbits for judging.

This event was sponsored by PACIFIC COAST RABBIT AND CAVY BREEDERS ASSOCIATION home based in Myrtle Point. An official sanctioned American Rabbit Breeders Association event, this show was open to the public and to only rabbits who met the standards of specific breeds. To make it to Best in Show, a rabbit must win best of gender ad also age group with in a certain color variety, then best of breed, then wait until all the other breeds are judged before finding out if bunny does indeed take the crown. Points are received for placing in an event not only for the placing but for the number of animals shown against. These numbers are tallied and sent to both the ARBA and to the clubs sanctioning the breeds being shown.

The first show's Best of Show was won by Oakland resident Diane Hollinger's Satin Angora doe (female). The second show was won by a standard rex.
