First Impressions
Hot pink, black and white walls encapsulated the Burger Joint Sports Bar and Grill. The music was fantastic, very reminiscent of the 50's car hop days. If you want a sports fix, there was an ample amount of sports playing on the TV's throughout the restaurant.
The atmosphere within the Burger Joint Sports Bar and Grill was definitely lively and electric. The servers were bouncing around with an enjoyable excitement. As far as first impressions go, I was impressed.
Wait Staff
Even though the initial reaction to the wait staff was positive, throughout the evening their mood changed. The amount of people coming in and out of the Burger Joint Sports Bar and Grill probably added to the stress.
Our server wasn't unpleasant, but the attitude toward us at the end of our meal was not the friendly smile first seen upon entering the restaurant. The felling portrayed was "thank you for dining, but leave, I have 10 other tables to tend".
Specialties
Salmon Burger - cucumber dill relish and sour cream
Buffalo Chicken Burger - Franks' Red Hot Sauce and blue cheese
Vegetable Burger - Daikon sprouts and herbed mayo.
Check Please
The majority of the meals, burgers, are reasonably priced. A diner will be able to buy a complete meal for under $7. This would be hamburger, French fries, and a drink. Fortunately the quality of the meal isn't anything to the like of a fast food restaurant. The only items which were higher in price are the specialty burgers such as the Kobe. This burger cost approximately $15.
