Burger King Steak House Shroom and Swiss Burger Review

Driving to Burger King, I decided to try the new "mushroom and swiss angus burger", sick of eating the old Whoopers all the time, and even the chicken sandwiches, it was time for something new. I purchased this burger for about $7 or so with large fries and a large drink. It was hot, probably just made and I eagerly bit into it. My friend that I was with also got a mushroom and swiss burger. We sat down and began to talk about things, and the new Burger King burger.

First off, Burger King has always been a favorite of mine. A fan of the BK stacker, and the whooper, the "angus burgers" had been below par before. Biting into this thing is like biting into the same old "angus burgers" they used to have there. They are dry and don't taste like black angus beef, in fact they never did. It seems like the mushrooms and other dressings are only there to keep the burger from being so dry. The swiss, just there to provide a different taste from the other burgers on the menu.

If there is one conspiracy in fast food for a company to make money it has to be this one, the "angus conspiracy" as some have called it has got to stop. Yes, the burgers are thicker, but if they are truly angus beef then it must be a very low grade of angus beef. The beef they use in the whoppers and BK stackers seems to be better then the meat they put in these so called "angus burgers" with the only difference being the angus burgers are thicker with fancy dressings and names like this new "shroom and swiss" contraption.

The other person who tried one, my friend, thought it wasn't that bad. He thought it was better then the old angus burgers they used to sell at Burger King and was actually pleased with the meal, except for the $7.00 price. He did say that he liked the BK stacker burger a lot better, but did prefer the "shroom and swiss angus burger" over a whopper. I remarked it was probably because he had eaten so many whoppers in his lifetime.

In conclusion, if your going to burger king, I would avoid the new "shroom and swiss angus burger" and just get a whopper or a BK stacker instead. Even a chicken sandwich from there is better and definitely more worth the money then this new burger they are coming out with. Burger King always does things like this, trying to add this and that to the menu, but only the whopper, the chicken club and the BK stacker have really remained. This angus thing probably isn't going to work out, just like the previous two or three "angus burgers" they had before.
