It's funny. I can't stand blueberries by themselves or in pie or in most other things. However, I do enjoy blueberries in baked goods, such as muffins and biscuits. This means I had to try Burger King's Mini Blueberry Biscuits as soon as they were available at my local restaurant. Would these be as good as the other sweet breakfast items that Burger King offers or a huge disappointment?
These biscuits are loaded with blueberries and smell absolutely heavenly. They are roughly the same size as the Cinna-Minis and also come with a small tub of frosting for dipping. I was so enticed by the look and smell that I couldn't wait to taste one.
When I bit into the first biscuit, I was absolutely in love. In all honesty, the frosting isn't even necessary. The abundance of blueberries in these biscuits add a tremendous amount of sweetness. The biscuit is also incredibly flaky and buttery. The large amount of blueberries add a nice texture as well. These are truly some of the best sweet biscuits I have ever eaten and even at such a small size, a pack of four really hits the spot.
A serving of Burger King's Mini Blueberry Biscuits is 4 biscuits, plus the tub of frosting. This serving contains 390 calories, 15 grams of fat, 15 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans-fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 830mg of sodium, 57 grams of carbohydrates, 30 grams of sugar and 5 grams of protein. For my fellow Weight Watchers members that's a PointsPlus value of 11. Of course, the amount of calories can be cut by skipping on the icing.
I would have to give these biscuits a 5 out 5 stars. These are the perfect item if you want a sweet treat for breakfast. By no means are they healthy, but they taste amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone that loves blueberries and even to those that are like me and only like blueberries in certain things. Best of all though, these little gems only cost $1. How can you not try them when they are so affordable?

Post a CommentI like the sound of this product! I sometimes buy a milkshake or something like that (not a burger) from Burger King, but these sound even better.

I am a big blueberry muffin fan, I will check these out, thanks! :-) Good review!
sounds good!
neat
Sounds delicious. There used to be several Burger Kings close to where I live, but they all closed. I can't even think of where one is now, but I know I've seen one or two in my local travels. I'll have to keep my eyes open, find a Burger King and give the biscuits a try.
