As the head of a household of seven, I am always looking for meals that are easy, quick and tasty to feed my clan. For a busy mom like me, anything that saves time, and is easy, is a Blessing. Some days I am lucky to find time to tie my shoes. I like this recipes for that reason and it is versatile enough that I can serve it any time of the year. In the winter, I serve it with French fries, and in the summer with potato salad. Finding a meal that they all like can be quite the challenge. I am happy to report that these burgers are a unanimous favorite. This is one recipe I use over and over again.
In a large bowl combine ground beef, mustard, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and onion. Knead well until all ingredients meld into the beef. Roll into balls and then flatten into patties. I always use my George Foreman Grill to cook these patties, simply because it saves me time. I can cook four, medium sized patties (well) in about seven minutes. You can make these in a skillet or however you normally cook your burgers. I like to cover my grill plates with aluminum foil on the top and bottom, and then spray it with a little Pam cooking spray, or olive oil. I do this so the patties don't stick to the grill. When I am finished I simply peel off the foil and toss. This greatly reduces my clean-up time. The time I save in clean-up alone, means a few extra quality minutes with the kiddo's, and sometimes gives me extra time to make a special dessert. The Aluminum foil also helps to accelerate the cook time. I serve these burgers on bulkie rolls (which are more filling) with lettuce, tomato and cheese.
So the next time you are looking for an easy meal that's sure to satisfy, try these tasty burgers. Your family is sure to love them just as much as mine does. Feeding your family can be fun, fast and easy once again
