Story : There is no story. This is a racing game. I suppose if you wanted it to be a role-playing racing game. You could pretend to be a car. But that would be weird, cause this is a racing game. Anyway, don't play this game if you want a story.
Graphics : The graphics in this game are excellent, above average compared to other racing games on the PS3. The cars are animated and draw beautifully, as are the backgrounds. Everything is interactive, and there were no graphical errors anywhere in the game. Watching stuff break in this game is amazing. The glass in particularly is a blast to watch as it flies everywhere.
Sound : The music in this game is decent at best. Mostly ambient, and not stuff that stays with you afterwords. The sound effects for the cars are excellent and atmospheric, really getting you into the game. You'll love revving your engine in this game. Another thing that deserves a mention is the sound of your vehicle hitting objects, which is cringe inducing. A really great effect.
Game play : The game play in this game is very good. The controls are crisp, responsive, and sensitive. For a driving game, this is extremely important. The difficulty in this game is extremely low, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. You can unlock new cars and there's many different kinds of modes in this game. The cars all handle well and the learning curve isn't very high for the most part. Learning to brake correctly is essential but not difficult.
Re playability : The game is extremely re playable, with a lot of unlock able content and many different modes. On top of that, it's a racing game which are primarily made to be re playable. This game delivers in spades on that front.
But the real gem here is the multi player. Racing against people all over the world never gets old, and racing with your friends is even better. Long story short, this game's multi player is an absolute blast and should not be overlooked.
Overall : 7/10. A very solid racing game, but there's nothing unique here to really help it stand the test of time. Regardless, the multilayer aspect of it really delivers.
