Bursaries are a form of financial help provided to the students on the basis of their academic performance or to students who are from low income group. Although there are many resources that help students in this regard, the best ones are academic foundation, corporations and tertiary institutions. Usually the students, who are awarded with bursaries by any company, have to work for that company for at least some period of time after he completes his education. This can be either a benefit or a bonding for the student.

If you will see the positive side of this, you will get a job immediately after graduating. On the other hand, you lose the freedom of choosing the corporation of your choice to work with. Even if you have job options, you cannot choose any of them. You will be bound to work for that company only till the time period to which you have agreed is not over. These bursaries provide their beneficiaries lot of benefits during the period of acquiring education. They are provided with free meals and transportation throughout their term and are also provided with the learning materials required.

Bursaries are renewed annually till the term duration ends. There is no limitation of which type of courses are covered under the bursary because it all depends on the sponsors and their ethics and programs. The best thing about a bursary is that you do not have to repay the money, as you need to do when you acquire loans. These are usually provided on work-back basis. In some case the students also have to go through a training program or join workshops and seminars. These learning programs are organized by the sponsoring company itself.

Bursaries are beneficial for both the company and the student. The companies get guaranteed candidate in their workforce and provide better support for the company's capacity. The students get a guaranteed job immediately after the completion of their education. Many companies as well as students are opting for bursaries seeing the benefits of the program. There are bursaries available for different fields of education.
