Burt's Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder
This Sweet-smelling Powder Will Keep You Cool and Fresh on Hot Days!
Made to be safe for babies, the ingredients are all natural. As well as talc and powdered roses, it contains French White clay, baking soda, powdered myrrh, and natural clay in a cornstarch base. Sensitive skin should love this dusting powder! It is pinkish in color, I suppose from the rose petals. For some reason, this powder seems to last a lot longer than other dusting powders I have used. I've noticed that it doesn't seem to fly all over everywhere, which is typical for any powder, but adheres well to the body when rubbed onto the skin. The lack of talc in this powder makes it not as finely milled as typical body powders, and at times you can feel a bit of a gritty sensation because of this. But it isn't really noticeable, and if it helps the powder last longer like I think it does, the grittiness is quite bearable.
The use of any dusting powder can cut down on the friction that is created when your clothes rub against your skin, making you hot and itchy. In the heat of summer, skin folds on the body can also rub together, which can lead to chafing and prickly heat. This powder is wonderful for preventing both of these. If you really want to cool off fast, store Baby Bee in the refrigerator for a wonderful cooling treat! One word of warning - you do not need to use a lot of this powder. A little goes a long way! It can also slightly stain white clothing, since it is colored, but I have never had a problem with it staining anything. All in all, I am very satisfied with Burt's Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder. My daughter and my mother are hooked on it as well! I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a talc free, gently feminine scented dusting powder.
