Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is 95.29% natural according to www.burtsbees.com. I like that! It contains no parabens, or preservatives, no chemical nastiness. What does it contain? All good stuff! I love a company that lists its ingredients and Burt's does. The lip balm contains: lanolin, almond oil, peppermint oil, beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate, tocopheryl, comfrey root extract, and rosemary extract. That's it!
I have tried so many "natural" lip balms, but none have satisfied me like Burt's does. Either they taste gross, or leave my lips slimy, or don't soak in well enough, or they cost a fortune, or they aren't quite as natural as they would have you believe...it's always something. But not with Burt's. Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is affordable, long lasting, soothes sore lips and smoothes them too! It is thick but not greasy, tastes minty, (not at all like petroleum) and lasts super long. It is nearly perfect, in my book. The only way it could be improved would be by adding a sun block to the formula.
