Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
This New Product from Burt's Bees is as Addicting as the Original!
What's different about this new product? Most importantly, it doesn't have peppermint oil as an ingredient like the Beeswax variety, and this should please people who do not care for the feeling peppermint oil produces on their lips. I have also heard that this oil dries some people's lips instead of softening them, so now they have a very nice lip balm option. Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil goes on smoothly and leaves the lips with a subtle color and shine which looks very natural. It has a sweet, natural pomegranate scent, and tastes good, too! You can tell when you accidentally lick your lips and get some of this in your mouth that the ingredients are all natural. There's no chemical taste at all, just a touch of cinnamon, coconut, and of course, pomegranate. I like that pomegranate is a natural antioxidant, too.
It seems to last longer on my lips than the Beeswax balm does, which surprised me. My lips have a tendency to get dry very easily, and will crack open if I don't keep them moisturized. I normally have to reapply lip balm every hour or so, but I was able to go for an entire afternoon without having to reapply this variety. It absorbs into the lips very well, and doesn't leave them feeling greasy or coated with wax like some other brands of lip balms do. Men may want to stick with the Beeswax lip balm, though, as the slight hint of color that the Pomegranate leaves on the lips is probably something most guys don't want!
A tube of this will last me quite a while, just like the Beeswax variety, even though I do apply it often... maybe too often, but I do like the way Burt's Bees products make my lips feel. I carry a tube wherever I go, and also have them stashed all over my house. This new variety will be purchased in quantity and added to my stash, for I simply can't live without it!
