Bus rides from Malaga to Ronda in Spain
From the center of Malaga, you can reach the both the train station and bus station to Ronda within a short 5-10 minute walk. The train station is located on Avenida La Victoria and the bus station is located on Plaza Concepcion Garcia Redondo. There are two bus companies you can choose from for your ride from Malaga to Ronda in Spain: Portillo and Los Amarillos. Each bus company takes you on a different route and shows you different scenery. The Portillo bus takes the coastal route through San Pedro de Alcantara. The ride to Ronda on the Portillo bus company is about two hours and 45 minutes long. The Los Amarillos bus ride is shorter, but travels along the inland route and does not give passengers the spectacular ocean views of the Portillo ride. Riding the Los Amarillos bus route from Malaga to Ronda takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Train rides from Malaga to Ronda in Spain
Riding the train from Malaga to Ronda, Spain requires a change at either the Antequera-Santa Ana or Bobadilla stations. Unfortunately, there is no direct route straight from Malaga to Ronda. The total time of the trip will depend on which train station you choose as your connection. The train ride from Malaga to Bobadilla will take around 50 minutes and the trip to the Antequera-Santa Ana train station will take around 25 minutes. The connection from each of those stations will take approximately an hour to reach the final destination of Ronda in Spain. Be sure to add enough time to your itinerary to allow for time differences between the connecting trains. The return train ride from Ronda back into Malaga usually takes longer than the trip out because of the gap in times at the connecting stations.
