Are you looking for something completely different, unbelievably fun, and incredibly frightful to do for Halloween? Consider Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream in Williamsburg, VA. Jack is back and they are open from September 14 through October 28. Let the day turn into dawn and you will see Busch Gardens as you have never seen it before.

As the night becomes ghostly and ghoulish, choose any of the ten attractions Busch Gardens has this time of year, and try to make it out alive. The Beaten Path is one of the scariest attractions at Howl-O-Scream. It has a five pumpkin rating. In Busch Garden terms, that's scary. They say the Beaten Path takes you through a path that leads "nowhere and everywhere." Buildings and signs change, telling you to turn back before it is too late. There are twists and turns, like a maze, and you must see it through to the end, because there is no chance of escaping.

If you are looking for something a little less scary, try Jack's Pumpkin Express. With a one pumpkin rating, the train is something that is sure to delight the whole family. Jack will take you on a tour of the park to see all the "boo-tiful" sights. Another attraction that is more suitable for youngsters is the Piratical Purgatory. Piratical skeletons have taken over the park. Keep an eye out for these guys, or you're likely to have to walk the plank.

Grimm Hollows Dead time Stories will really give you goose bumps. Listen to the horrific tales of the Brother's Grimm's birthplace, the real version. Unlike the stories you were told as child, these will surely have you looking over your shoulder. And look closely if you happen upon Jack Hannah's wild life reserve, werewolves roam the dark each night.

Be careful in The Curse of the Pompeii. As you travel on an archeological expedition, in search of ancient treasure, you may find some things that you aren't looking for. While trying to unearth the Emperor's mask, rumbling earthquakes, man eating plants, and traps are set. Watch your steps in this five pumpkin rated attraction.

So do something different this Halloween and head to Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream. Spend the day enjoying the rides, watching the shows, and seeing the animals. Scream your head off on the roller coasters, but remember, when dusk hits; hold on to your head as tight as possible, something may try to grab it.
