Christmas Celebration is located in the Desert Grill Theater, in Timbuktu. Throughout the year this stage has singers and dancers performing, but during the holidays it only gets better. You will see Santa Claus, his elves, Rudolf the redness reindeer, Frosty the snowman, Christmas trees dancing, and so much more.
Enjoy hymns, carols, and some Rock'n'Rolling Christmas music, while enjoying some fun, and classical dancing. This show runs approximately 20 minutes.
From the Christmas Celebration hop over to Christmas on Ice at the Stanleyville Theater, in Stanleyville. It is only a short walk away.
Christmas on Ice is located where the big bands, and 50's and 60's groups come in the springtime. Fifteen minutes prior to the show they have the Busch Garden's violinist play Christmas music for your enjoyment. She is very professional and this is a great warm up to the show.
The ice skaters are from around the world, and offer a great show for all the family. They are professional skaters, and the Russian pairs skaters will have you cheering, whistling, and giving them a standing ovation. The show has several talented skaters, as well as the chorus line, that do an amazing job.
This is the second year that they have also had a young girl skating. She is enchanting, and a big hit with the audience.
Christmas from the Heart is located at the Marrakesh Theater in Morocco. Here you will hear Christmas songs sung by a choir. They are uplifting with their gospel and inspirational music. If it is as cold as the day we went, they will be performing with gloves to match their outfits.
We felt at ease to join in with the singing, and left still singing or humming the tunes.
I have to mention the new show that recently opened, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy. It is in the Moroccan Palace Theater, Morocco. Here you are inside, and in comfortable theater style seats.
You will experience contortionist, jugglers, and aerialist, as well as music, and dancing. Did you know that a juggler can juggle with 7 balls at a time. I didn't until seeing this show. With each act you will think it can't get any better, and then it does. This is a great show, and I can't wait to see it again.
The Christmas shows run until January 2nd, 2011. For the times of the shows check out www.buschgardens.com. We went to the 10.45 a.m. Cirque Dreams show, the 11.30 a.m. Christmas Celebration show, 12.15 p.m. Christmas on Ice, and the 1.00 p.m. Christmas from the Heart. This worked out perfectly for us. We didn't have to rush between shows, and didn't have to wait long between them.
In the month of December Busch Gardens is open from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The parking has just gone up to $13, so you may wish to buy an annual pass, which includes parking, and gives you lots of extras. Again you can check this out at www.buschgarden.com.

Post a CommentExcellent, as always! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Susan! rcj
We had some at our Busch too.
They are great shows.
Isn't it annoying this time of the year, when we should be getting so many views.
Merry Christmas to you and yours Ruth.
I didn't receive an alert. Just was visiting your site to do some reading/commenting. Our email system isn't perfect yet! MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR! rcj
Shame you couldn't have been with them, and we could have met up Ruth.
I've been there a number of times, but never for the Christmas show. All of this sounds just great. My son and family just got home today from 9 days in Florida. They were going to go to Busch Gardens, so I'll probably get a first-hand accounting of this show. rcj
