"If you don't like my Iraq plan, tell me yours".
Democratic leaders intend to hold a vote within the next few weeks in the House of Senate on President Bush's revised and updated Iraq policy. However in Washington President Bush asked those to either put up or shut up by saying "to oppose everything while proposing nothing is irresponsible."
He continued to inform them that 21,000 troops being posted in Baghdad and Anbar province which is a base for Al Qaeda, have a changed mission. The President also broached the subject of the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki who has pledged that political sectarian inteference with security operations will not be tolerated.
"This time there will be adequate Iraqi and US forces to hold the areas that have been cleared,", Bush continued.
President Bush is really standing firm behind his new proposed policies on Iraq and does not seem to be interested in criticism unless it is constructive.
The reality behind this is that over two-thirds of Americans acutally oppose placing more troops in Iraq - this breaks down into two out of three citizens asked. It seems that the American people do not agree with their own Government so perhaps President Bush should listen to the electorate and get down off his high horse.

Post a CommentBush fired his two top generals because they disagreed with him on the troop surge. The "generals on the ground" that he says he listens to are against the surge... There are plans all over the place - redeployment, phased withdrawal, engaging Iraqs neighbors instead of trying to incite conflict, and there are more ideas out there.... Bush is the one who won't listen. He'll fire his own cabinet members if they say, "look, this isn't working" - and he has!
Get them out of our country. They have a nerve. KILLERS
Another wonderful saying by our lead puppet.
He has a nerve
The sooner he is gone the better
He is like some kind of weird joker
