Early this afternoon, when talking to reporters about plans of leaving a lasting legacy after his presidency, President George W. Bush said he would like to create the world's largest piece of glass.
"It would be something nice that the world could remember me for. Kind of like a public art piece."
The President has been trying to think of things that would create a lasting impression of his presidency lately. Bush leaves office in January of 2009, after 8 long years of maintaining office. Plans for a presidential library are already set, however Bush said he wanted to "offer the world something new, innovative and unique."
Bush explained that he would promote the event by registering his piece of glass with the Guinness Book of World Records.
When asked how large this glass work would be, Bush explained: "It is of the magnitude that no one has ever seen before. We're talking big here. This art piece has the approximate area of Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq put together!"
