Bush's Final Interviews Warn of National Security Threat
"Talking the Talk" While Granting VISA Waivers
"In terms of the decisions that I had made to protect the homeland, I wouldn't worry about popularity. What I would worry about is the Constitution of the United States and putting plans in place that makes it easier to find out what the enemy is thinking," he said. Because all these debates will matter naught if there's another attack on the homeland. The question won't be, you know, 'Were you critical of this plan or not?' The question's going to be, 'Why didn't you do something?'"
In Mr. Bush's clear delusional state, and spins he is attempting to place for history, it is and was interesting to note that not a single member of the press corp and main stream media again challenged Mr. Bush's actions while in office which actually have encouraged and potentially might facilitate such an event to occur, unless the incoming administration takes forceful and immediate actions to reverse the damage Mr. Bush has done to our national security while in office. What is needed now and was immediately post 9/11 is to secure our own borders, not open the floodgates, which the Bush Administration has done in the granting now of VISA waivers to over 34 nations (including South Korea and Great Britain, and a number of the CAFTA countries) as recently announced during a ceremony in the Rose Garden these past few weeks. Instead he continued waging a superfluous war on foreign soil securing the Iraqi borders, his VISA waiver program has actually invited such an event to occur, while yet publicly "warning" the next Administration of security threats he himself has compromised. Mr. Bush has had difficulty throughout his life battling alcoholism, and would appear his delusional thinking and mind itself just might need a tune up with a mental health professional after he turns out the lights of the White House for the final time.
This program was initiated under the auspices of the Department of Homeland Insecurity, a new agency created post 9/11 which was initiated to undertake domestic security due to the administrative foul ups that occurred within the DOJ and DOD which allowed 9/11 to occur in the first place. Instead, it has been the continued efforts of this Department, with the Administrations blessings and consent, to insure that international commerce, free trade, tourism and such continue uninterrupted no matter how many American lives are placed at risk for the almighty buck and the foreign "free trade" treaties and appeasement policies this Administration is now infamous. The U.S. has basically turned this country into a tourist attraction for foreigners and as an investment opportunity for global interests, rather than protecting the American people and American workers lives, property and livelihoods and native soil. The increase in this program, which simply requires a 48 hour turnaround time for the security check, and which VISAs are good for a two year period, was quietly announced in a White House Rose Garden ceremony during Mr. Bush's final 100 days in office. The sums needed for the border security were instead used to enlarge the Atlanta airport and to provide welcome videos for these foreign travelers. Let me remind you that the majority of the 9/11 pilots entered this country under tourist visas, and were in this country less than six months prior to the attack, one of which trained not less than 10 miles from my former home in Arizona. Richard Reid, the shoe bomber, boarded in Great Britain under a visa. President Bush does not need to be impeached at this point, he needs to be committed.
And since my former state governor, Janet Napolitano, is an open borders advocate and illegal immigrant sympatheizer, no matter how many of her fellow Arizonans lives have been lost, or jobs have been affected during her six years in office, don't look for this situation to change under the Obama Administration.
If I were now a resident in the sunny South, I would start checking the passenger lists and skies a little more often before boarding in Atlanta.
And the most disturbing question of all was why has the press been so silent on this new program, and why did it not question Mr. Bush during his clearly deranged spin on his abysmal presidency this past week while giving those press conferences on the national security concerns as paramount for the new Administration?
