The most amazing thing about business is how creative it can get. There are plenty of solutions for anything. You have to look and be ready when the opportunity knocks. Here are some steps you can take to make your business come together.

The Plan

First of all, you need a plan. That means that you will need quite a bit of information. Most investors want to know how much money you are going to need and what you are going to do with it. But don't think that it's going to be a simple two question interview. It's going to get quite extensive. Have all the answers ready when you write your plan.

It requires a good bit of thought. But, a nice business plan model exists at the Small Business Administration where you can literally use any number of resources that they have in their library and you can even use their computers to work up a nice business plan. I have seen people who knew that they wanted to own a business one day, but they had no idea what or where to begin. By the time they used all the resources the Small Business Administration had to offer, they not only had their business plan but they had the exact business in mind and funding on the way.

Finding Funding

Most entrepreneurs have ideas. No money. That's what investors expect. They know that you have great ideas for how to make money with their money. So, get started and get your plan out there in front of them.

Funding Universe is a great place to post a business plan and see if anyone bites. It's highly possible that an investor is going to come along at least once or twice a day to see what your plan contains. They'll look it over and they might put it down. But, something might start to nag them or another investor will come along the next day and pick right up on it. You never know what is going to happen. But, you can rest assured something is going to happen.

Of course, when you mention that art benefits kids and fills the gaps where education fails, investors will swamp to put their money into you.
