Business Review: Whatshername YoYo Hair Accessories and Crafts

North Carolina crafter, Gayle Williams, has been selling her beautiful creations on Etsy for a little over a year now. One of her best sellers is her adorable yoyo hair accessory line of hair clips, headbands and ponytail holders. If you are tired of the same old scrunchies and plastic hair clips then you should check out these beautiful creations. They are perfect for all ages from babies to adults. They come in a variety of colors and themes. Each of these exquisitely handmade hair accessories comes carded and packed well.

Gayle also makes other wonderful handcrafted items such as patchwork, dried pressed flower bookmarks, handbags, magnets and ACEO's as well as beautiful wall hangings and qualities. Many of her items are OOAK (one of a kind) and she also considers custom work as well.

Gayle was inspired to start crafting and selling her work after reading an article about local crafters in the Charlotte Observer. Her shop is called Whatshername. This unique name stems from something many of us suffer from, the inability to remember names! Gayle has a hard time remembering names and often times finds herself saying, "Now what was her name? So she named her business Whatshername to make it easy for customers to remember.

Her crafts are not only a hobby but also what she considers her "art therapy". She has fibromyalgia and finds her crafts very relaxing and therapeutic. Her youngest son who also suffers from a chronic health condition has a special section in her shop called Cards by Mitchell.

As a special treat in her shop you can find a PIF (pay it forward) section. Currently she offers free recipes for Mint Syrup, Spinach Souffle and Garden Insecticide.
