Just Breathe Yoga in Cape May County, New Jersey, has a mission to share with this community that yoga is amazing and accessible, and that it can be practiced by everyone who has a breath. "Flexibility is a by-product, not a requirement, of successful yoga practice", says owner Christina Newdeck. Her passion is working with people who have a sincere desire to make a real physical change in their bodies, and one of the things that drives her is to teach these people how to effectively and successfully reduce stress.

Christina presently is teaching a class at The Wetlands Institute every Monday evening, from 5:30-6:45 p.m. This class is ongoing through November, is open to all levels, and is always fun and rejuvenating to those who attend. The class averages 14 regular participants, and there's always room for one more! A percentage of monies earned goes toward supporting the wonderful happenings at the Institute.

"Yoga instruction is also available in your home, or at your office," says Christina. "Imagine...no traffic, no lines, no yucky 'gawkers', and no confusing TV instruction! Instead, you can enjoy personalized, LIVE Yoga instruction, by a passionate, fun, experienced instructor!" Christina has worked with many local gyms, and she understands the stress experienced by those who are timid in entering a gym, let alone practicing Yoga there. She has also worked in very challenging work environments, and recognizes that stress is common when working in an office or company atmosphere. Just Breathe Yoga makes Yoga instruction fun again, and can help you reduce stress at the same time. If a class isn't convenient for you, Christina will come to your home, office, personal gym or studio. "Fancy is not what personalized Yoga instruction requires," Christina explained. Do you have a conference room? A door in your office you can close to block noise and distraction? Do you have a living room floor or kitchen that can be easily cleared?

Just Breathe Yoga's philosophy is that anyone breathing can benefit from Yoga. Its ancient breathing techniques and postures will be modified to accommodate YOU, by taking into consideration your individual needs and abilities, and by being taught at a pace you're comfortable with.

There are also some for who time or location is an obstacle that prevents them from practicing three times a week with Just Breathe Yoga. In order to accommodate these clients, a special program has been developed titled, "The Ultimate 3-Day Yoga Intensive". Said Christina, "A 3-day weekend, (or 3 weekdays) at the shore will leave you, the busy professional, with the stress-reducing tools you'll need to navigate through life. Gain the basics of Yoga's postures and breathing techniques in 3 reviving and inspiring days!"

Have you ever considered Just Breathe Yoga for "Lunch and Learn" sessions for your office or organized group? Local church groups, organizations and clubs are also great candidates for Yoga instruction. And Yoga is very effective in warming, cooling or centering the athletes at pre/post-races, games or tournaments.

Christina is also an artist, and her pieces, (metal sculptures and engraved glassware that are "health-inspired and better-living-driven"), will be on display and available for purchase at the annual Brenden Borak Art Show on August 16th.

    I've lived in Northern NJ all my life and I've only recently discovered how delightful the southern half of the state is. Thanks for a great review, I will check this out when we're visiting Ocean City next summer.
