But Only a Dream

April Higney
But only a dream,
yet so vividly sweet, the touch,
embracing, the wish for neverending,
for the love given, granted back just as much.
But only a dream,
yet so softly sweet, this kiss,
embracing, the wish for a forever,
held in infinite bliss.
But only a dream,
yet so in depth talking lingers into the night,
embracing the thoughts in happiness,
the presence of love, waking in the light.
But only a dream,
could make one heart melt so,
embracing the truth within each others eyes,
not wanting to let this dream of love go.
But only a dream,
yet so vividly sweetness we share,
embracing, keeping the eyes closed for awhile,
where the heart of the dream is held in loving care.
