But There Again Why

Coffee Mugg

I saw you today,
Several times you came into the store.
I looked again and it was someone else,
Your love, I want even more.

My garden of life,
A Love is born every day,
I try to pretend.

But there again, why?
When something is real,
It is true,
This you cannot deny.

I touch my hand,
It is you I feel,
I long for your touch,
This is all so real.

Imagination,
Runs wild with desire for you,
Emancipation.

What else can we do?
Heartfelt words,
If you only knew,
My love, my life, I need you.

Your voice I hear,
Echo in the night.
I long to hear your voice,
You know, this is all so right.

Fortune cookies, yes,
They never ever tell lies,
I don't mean to stress.

But there again why?
When something is real,
It is true,
This you cannot deny

I like the opening. When we ponder someone enough, we may see that person's face everywhere.....
